About Maureen Marks

My name is Maureen and I dream in color.

I am a wife, a mother, an artist and an art teacher.

My favorite color is red, but please don’t tell the other colors

I honestly can’t remember a time when art was not a part of my life.

I was lucky enough to find my passion at a very young age.  The excitement to share my passion bubbles over to the point where I just can’t wait to help bring out the inner artist in everyone!

This site is for anyone that wants to get creative – no matter your experience or “talent”.  I don’t believe that “talent” is necessary to make art.  Art can be learned, practiced and improved just like anything else! I have 11 years of public art teaching experience and 11 years of private art education experience.

I am proud to be a graduate of Kutztown University with a Bachelors and a Masters Degree in Art Education.

It’s never too late to start.  Remember that Grandma Moses didn’t start painting till she was in her seventies
