What to bring: roll of tinfoil, face mask/shield and a clean empty jar with no label (jam or salsa size jar-the clay cracks on larger jars), We won’t need a ton of tinfoil, but it’s too hard to clean a box of tinfoil for students, so it’s safer to have you bring it.
Ages: this is best for grades K and up, but younger children are welcome-they will just need lots of parent help.
Come as a parent/child pair and learn how to make this adorable Fairy House! My sample has a Halloween spin on it, so feel free to make it more of a haunted house! The ticket price is for one house for a parent/child pair to make together. Parents are needed as helpers for the glue gun and construction. If parents or additional children want to make a house please add an “Additional House for family members” ticket. The tables comfortably fit families of 4-5.
The house takes 4 days or more to dry, so paint, glitter and flowers will be sent home as a kit for you to decorate at home. I may add some “Art in the Lawn” nights in August or September where anyone can come hang out outside and work on whatever projects they bring. Those are $5 per person to attend.
Choose your time slot during August 17-18. If the weather is nice we will sit outside under the shaded tree. No more than 2 families will be scheduled for the same time slot.
if you have 3 or more families that want to create together please email artgirl1965@gmail.com to schedule!
